I came across a special type of the entertainment on the local buses in Peru. A guy jumped on the bus and for five minutes is citing the bible and emphasised how important is the God, human life, love. Then he complained about the moder life and how people were getting disconnected from their roots. He emphasized that the modern life was too fast, that the food was very bad and that this was a reason that we all had problems with our ...... stomach.
He said that it was very difficult to change the life style, but it was relatively easy to solve ALL the problems with the stomach. Just once a day one needed to drink THE special jungle tea, which the guy was selling for half a dollar. I have seen several tines a performance like this. The whole show usually lasted from 10 to 20 minutes and was very appealing. Once he almost managed to convince me that thanks to this tee one can become a better person....
In Bolivia in Uyuni I have seen the best life teleshopping performance. The guy was showing that it is easy to down scale or upscale the counter of south America by a special plastic arm. The arm was attached on one side. Than once was placing a drawing pen and the leading pen on to it. If the leading pen was closer to the attachment point of the arm than one was up scaling the picture, if it was reverse than it was used for down scaling. The seller managed to be very convincing that this piece of equipment is needed in every household and that was very, very easy to use it (which i am sure is not a case). Moreover if one decided to buy it this equipment right now one could have received several small presents like additional ruler and eraser. And local people were very eager to buy it!!!
